Fat is an ingredient category

Sunflower Oil and Olive Oil count as Fat for recipes such as Fried Chicken, French Fries and Fish Sticks. Make them with the Crusher: process Sunflower Seeds into Sunflower Oil, or Olives into Olive Oil. These are not made by cooking the seeds in the Kitchen or smelting them in the Foundry.

Unlock and inputs

Buy Albert’s Expert blueprint tier (1,850 Glims, 10 Iron Ingots, 10 Wool Fabric), then build the Crusher with 7 Pulsar Ingots, 15 Ash Planks and 5 Zinc Ingots. Bruce & Mickey’s Smash! Smash! request introduces the Crusher, but it can be built earlier once the blueprint tier and materials are available.

Sunflower route: reach Nordweiler (-3, 185) using Icebreaker, buy Sunflower Seeds, grow them in the Field and keep harvested seeds for crushing.

Olive route: reach Edgeborough Lane (192, -105) through the rock region, buy Olive Seeds and grow them in an Orchard. Use Rock Destroyer to enter this region. Harvest Olives and put them into the Crusher. Do not plant these seeds in the Garden. Operate the Crusher until the oil output appears, collect it and use it as the Fat ingredient in an improved Kitchen.
