Map, coordinates and island barriers
Set destinations in Stella’s cabin. Coordinates use (X, Y); keep minus signs. Ice, rock and fog borders require Icebreaker, Rock Destroyer and Mist Cleaner 1000 respectively.
Read and use the map
Open the map in Stella’s cabin and select a destination to sail there. Coordinates are written (X, Y): X is horizontal, Y vertical; retain the minus sign. Undiscovered areas are dark, so explore reachable regions and return after upgrades. Discover Alex’s bus stops to use fast travel. You can queue up to three destinations and track required construction materials in the Captain’s Log.
Icons and barriers
Island labels identify landing destinations; event markers identify opportunities such as dragons; crates are salvage stops and resource icons show the materials associated with an island. Spirit/question markers point to encounters rather than guaranteeing a recruit with no prerequisites. Francis is the travelling merchant and errands contact, and Susan’s Museum is the collection destination.
Ice, rock and fog borders need Icebreaker, Rock Destroyer and Mist Cleaner 1000 respectively. A movement skill solves platforming on islands; it cannot substitute for the required boat improvement at a sea border.
