Spirit Flowers: first flower and departure exceptions
After an eligible spirit departs, collect the flower from their room. Gwen’s flower is on her Lodge bed. Buck gives no flower; Atul leaves his in the Workshop, and Daria’s is at Overbrook.
First flower
Finish Gwen’s Lodge and Loom requests, find her at Villa Maggiore during I Must Be Off, and complete One Last Time at the Everdoor. After the crossing, return to Gwen’s Lodge and interact with the flower on the bed. This is the first Spirit Flower; Icebreaker’s listed cost consumes one flower together with its other materials. Obols and Spirit Flowers are separate items.
Later flowers and spending
Continue eligible spirits’ requests, honour their final Everdoor request and collect the flower from the room they leave behind. Rock Destroyer lists two flowers, so the flower spent on Icebreaker is no longer available. Do not count a departure as collected inventory until you return for the flower.
“Third flower” is a resource/progression question, not a rule that one uniquely named spirit must always be third. The order of later spirits depends on which requests you have completed; you do not need to follow a single fixed order for later departures. Gwen is the early first-flower route. Stanley’s flower appears in his playroom after his release. Daria is an exception to the normal boat-room lookup: return to her room at Overbrook after her Everdoor crossing. Collecting it is also required for Jackie’s later recruitment trigger.
Departure exceptions
Buck never goes through the Everdoor and does not leave a Spirit Flower. Atul disappears after his final dinner progression and leaves a flower in his workshop; he is not taken to the Everdoor. Lily is Stella’s living sister represented through the late-game butterfly storyline, not another passenger to release for a flower.
For Mist Cleaner 1000, prepare three unspent flowers. See the fog guide for the other materials.
